Moya Stud is situated in the East of Pretoria on a small 22ha farm surrounded by other tranquil agricultural properties. This paradise for horses offers the highest standard of horse care, specializing in veterinary care, as owner Claudia Snyckers is herself a qualified Veterinary Nurse.
Moya Stud meaning "Big Wind" got its name from our great stallion Tornado.
Our services include breeding, specialized care of horses in a peaceful, natural environment where they can recuperate and relax among other horses, but always under dedicated care and supervision.
In addition Moya Stud has acquired an extracorporeal shockwave therapy machine. Shockwave therapy exerts a mechanical pressure and tension force on the afflicted tissue. This has been shown to create an increase in cell membrane permeability, thereby increasing microscopic circulation to the tissues and the metabolism within the treated tissues, both of which promote healing. This treatment is showing us great success!
